    Phillipe Struxiano

    March 22nd 1921

Philippe Struxiano, France's captain, informed the national selectors that he would not play for them again after he was not allowed to travel with the squad to meet Scotland after being left out through injury. He had been picked to play against England before his decision was made public. He did not change his mind despite many requests to do so, but continued to play and coach at club level.

Without the 1st World War, there is no doubt that his name was even broader. After Toulouse, he ended his career as player-coach to Avignon.
He was the Chairman of the Technical Commission of the stage in 40 years.
A stage area in Toulouse Lespinet still bears its name.

I'm not saying a word about this .......:rolleyes: ... interesting though if you believe in the stars !!

Thanks for that, though I'm not sure just what to make of the astrological information.
