    That site, History of the World's Navy's, is my first resort when finding out about 20th Century warships. The amount of photographs varies, but the best entries are very good indeed.

    If you ever get a chance to read Charles Lamb's War in a Stringbag, there is an excellent first-hand account of the sinking. Lamb was the last aircraft to land on Courageous before she was hit.
