A few links of interest to one of the ship's Richard's father sailed on during ww2.

Good to see there are some full crew B&W photos available from one of the posters on U-Boat .com.

Thanks for the links! The BEE was of great importance and my father had a a very detailed model of a Corvette in the den, so now I know which one it was, I remember the Bee and the Swastika. I have not found the crew pictures yet that are mentioned .... must be doing something wrong.

Then I update the page for my father on the family tree web site and buggered that up as well. One of those days!

Have I told you about how much I love Microsoft Vista and how if messes up all the web sites that were done with Front Page in XP? And now they do not even support Front Page anymore.

I am going to have to delete the site and reload it from the archives. All to add the Cobalt link! I now have to go pull out some more hair.

I will post the link one it is back in operation.

The COBALT pictures are over in the Atlantic Convoys, as I forgot Spidge started this post after:

    http://ww2chat.com/forums/allied-forces/2078-canada-atlantic-convoys.html

The fellow Rick who sent the pictures is listed in that topic.

And yes, I have recovered from the catastrophic VISTA attack and the Laughton Family Genealogy is back in business. Not sure why anyone would have an interest in that but someone did:

    Laughton Family History 1771 Onwards

We do find in our Canadian group that family genealogy and military history do cross many paths as you can't do one without the other. There are WWI web sites about my two grandfathers that are separate from that site:

Great War - George Van Wyck Laughton, M.C.

World War One - Josiah Chancellor Kennedy
