Greetings to all. I'm a WW2 history buff, author, and game master. My Father was in destroyers with the Canadian Navy in WW2, HMCS Ottawa. She was torpedoed Sept 1942 and my Dad was a lucky survivor. It finished his war though. I've come here in my quest to promote my game design, which is a pbem (play by email) text-based WW2 recreation. I'm recruiting players who want a deep, detailed game. This isn't spam, it is my intro. The game is free to play and the rules are a free download, no commercial intent. Along with the rules, I have made my novel available as a free download too. Hi and welcome r6751, A sad loss of 114 crew. A fortunate tale of survival for your father after being torpedoed twice in 30 minutes. The loss of ship and crewmates amid the devastation must have been extremely hard to bear. Cheers Geoff
