Hello all. I have read the at the Spanish División Azul had their own hospitals deployed in both Germany and in the Baltic states. I'm curious if anyone has details and photographic material on the female (e.g., nurses, etc.) staff of these facilities.

Tangentially, I read a book about the Blue Division that indicated that there was a program in Spain in which a young Spanish woman would, for lack of a better word, "adopt" a solider or airman and send him materials via post. These were post cards, letters, small articles, etc. Would anyone have details on this program?

Thank you for any assistance. I realize this particular topic may seem a bit esoteric, but I have always found the Spanish component of the war interesting.
