    WARNING:
    Some of the linked threads contain images of the remains of German and Russian Soldiers. Please note that no sense of outrage at the "desecration" of the final resting place of these brave men is required. All are MIAs and the same people who dug them up are in constant contact with the German and Russian governments so that the remains may be repatriated and some closure given to the families of these long-dead Soldiers.



    I often trawl the linked website as they are a wonderful source of information on the latest geophysical technology available to the general public. Indeed, som contacts I have made through the site have led to improved operations of our own OKM I-160 ground penetrating thing-a-ma-bob.

    A Russian user called "KORSU" has provided us with some amazing pictures of his excavations of old Russian WWII battlefields. Perhaps the most amazing of these is this one:
