Toil and trouble: the last witch? - This Britain, UK - Independent.co.uk and Witch convicted of leaking WWII secrets about sinking battleship 'should be pardoned' | the Daily Mail
I have in my collection, a printers draft copy of Ellic Howe, Astrology and Psychological Warfare during World war II, and it talks about influencing Hitler by faking charts and by modifying the predictions oof Nostrodamus and broadcasting them to the Germans. So, to jail a woman for witchcraft is sheer hypocrisy on the part of the poers at be!
Some years back I read an acount of how a coven of witches in England allegedly, though with all seriousness, hexed Hitler during the war. This was said to have been a contributing factor in his mental breakdown. Who knows if this was the primery factor, or that he was being pumped full of uppers and downers by his doctor. If it is true that some practising witchd helped England and were not prosecuted, I think it was ony a sign of hypocracy. Freedom for all religious kooks, even Catholics.
