    Great idea.

I was always impressed by the Avenues of Honour, especially in country towns.

    Hi All,

This is a great idea and has also been taken up by the Ontario goverment here in Canada also. Though on a slightly different idea they actually have named some of the main highways such as the main road into Ottawa, the 416 is now know as the Veterans Memorial Highway. And the highway between Kingston and Toronto is known as the Highway of Heros. The reason for that is all casualties which are being brought back from peacekeeping missions have to travel that route. I'll see if i can get some pics on the way back through.
    Take care all

That is a wonderful idea. A grander version of our national Memorial Arboretum.
