It was reported in a back edition of my local paper in 1916 that an Army pensioner from Bramley, near Rotherham, aged 67, sired 31 children and had 16 sons serving King & Country. Has anyone come across this family? Morten

Thanks for replies. No, the only other information included in the paper was that he had 12 daughters - no names listed at all.

HERE is the Bramley Roll of honour. There are not 16 individuals with the same surname - not that that proves anything!

    Annie,

The hyperlink worked for me. Am I making a mistake when posting hyperlinks?

Thanks for finding the Roll of Honour. At least there are now some names to investigate. Morten
