If you're interested in American Air War during WW2, this site may be of some help to you. If you know of an individual that was involved in a downed air craft someone can most likely give you the MACR number (Missing Air Crew Report) and who the rest of the crew was, missions, bombing targets, etc. I go there alot myself. That's a website I come across on occasion but never have a look through properly. Will have to keep an eye on it for when the databases are back up.
It is indeed a fantastic site. Unfortunately they've been moving their servers etc and so their MACR search facility has been offline. Will be good to get that back up again soon. Cheers Andy
