Thee are two books that are well worth reading on Austro-Hungarian fighter pilots: Air Aces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire 1914-1918 by Dr Martin O'Connor, ISBN 0 9637110 1 6, a copiously illustrated and beautifully produced volume with a price to match; and Austro-Hungarian Aces of World War I by Christopher Chant, ISBN 1 84176 376 4, one of the Osprey 'aircraft of the aces series' with excellent colour illustrations of the aeroplanes involved.
