Guests and Bots (e.g. Yahoo! Slurp Spider) can read most forums. The Bots are automated systems sent out by the various search engines like google and yahoo so that they can then add our threads to their search results. We also actively encourgae guests to read our posts as they could be potential members, and may find something of interest that they wish to reply to. We also have had a number of people join after they did a search for a particular subject and came across one of our posts after it had been logged by one the Bots However, guests and bots cannot access member's profiles, carry out an active search using the forum's search facility, or post, without first registering.
