Has anyone seen this film yet? I feel like I'm the only person in America who has not. Was sold out the first couple of weekends it was open in my area. Definitely going to get around to seeing it, hopefully this week. For those who have seen it what did you think? I've heard its s fairly accourate depiction of the Iraq War.

I've seen it and I thought it was a great movie. Bradley Cooper's acting was just unbelievable. There was a right balance of character development and action sequences and I think it made the movie great.

  3. I cant wait to see the movie. I have watched a documentary of the story before I have watched the movie so I am excited to see how it turns out.

I haven't watched it yet to be honest but I read some criticisms about it referring ofcourse to the fact that Afghanistan wasn't brought up or how Al Qaeda in Iraq grew out of the US invasion and not the reverse. It couldn't be portrayed as something politically-correct but then again the movie isn't supposedly about politics-- it's about the life of one man and his experiences in the war.
