Black Hills National Cemetery

  1. 1.JPG 5.JPG 2.JPG 6.JPG 3.JPG 7.JPG 4.JPG I just wanted to share some information and pictures of this little-known national cemetery. The site itself is four miles outside Sturgis, South Dakota. I think the town is famous for the motorcycle rally, so the cemetery gets overshadowed by that. I have been here twice. The first time was 1992. The second time was in 2010, while vacationing. It is fairly large for being a rural area. It is nice, well-kept, and has beautiful scenery around it. Have you ever heard of this cemetery? Have you ever been in the area or been to the cemetery itself? Enjoy the pictures.

I have heard of this before, but I have never been. I would like to go one day, but your photos almost make me feel like I'm there, so I can only imagine what it really feels like. It looks beautiful and very well up kept for a cemetery.
