How to stop receiving so many email notices from the site

    First, remove any threads which you don't want notifications for on this page:
    http://www.militarian.com/watched/threads/all

    Then, go to your preferences (you can get there by clicking your name in the top right), and un-click the "Automatically Watch Threads" box.


    Or, if you just don't want the site to email you at all, just go in the privacy page and unclick the "Receive Site Mailings"
    http://www.militarian.com/account/privacy

    It might take up to 24 hours or so for all the emails to flush out of the system.

    Thanks for this Peter, I am disabling this e-mail notifications because it's pretty good to see the notifications on the site when I log in, I think it's enough.

    Yea thanks for the info. I was getting a lot of emails too.

    Thanks so much. I was about to mark them all as spam since I don't read them. I am happy to just come to the site rinsed what's new.

    I am on many forums and getting the notices helps me remember what I am doing. Sometimes it takes me back to a forum I have forgotten about.
