Great Realistic Historical War Related Movies

    Band of Brothers is another fantastic one, forgot about that. I haven't seen all of it, but the parts that I have seen were outstanding. Letters from Iwo Jima was also good, so was Windtalkers, even though Rotten Tomatoes doesn't say it is.

    Letters from Iwo Jima was made in the same style as Band of Brothers. It was of quality but it couldn't match the quality of BoB

    Yeah, you're right, but I still thought it was good. I liked The Dirty Dozen too, I remember watching that when I was young with my dad.

    I absolutely love Saving Private Ryan. I wasn't a fan of Peal Harbor and that's probably because I don't care for Michael Bay's work. He seem to be all about the action and explosives to me. Also, don't get Platoon. That movie is at the top of my list!
