I haven't seen this topic opened. Yugoslavian partisans were deemed as one of the most effective in Europe, and by the end of the war they were an actual Army engaging in conventional warfare. And they were one of two Armies to largely liberate it's own territory without significante assistance from allies. What do you think how influental were they in the whole scheme, and I would like to hear people from outside of the balkans who have info on the Partisans which are objective.

This is as far as I read the first page how the Germans fought against the Partisansa, am I right? I'm more interested in the other side of the story, because where I live we were filled with movies of glorious victories of the partisans, I'm interested how much truth is it there.
