Effect of Donated Supplies

    France, Spain and the Dutch Republic all among other countries helped to provide necessary supplies for the revolutionaries. What effect do you guys think this had?

    I think this had a great effect, if not on the actual well-being of the army, then the morale of the soldiers fighting the war.
     
  3. As pie said, knowing that other countries were helping out at least a little bit surely helped the common man on the front lines in those periods of doubt about the outcome of the war. Even though Britain had held down those other countries at least to a point, banded together, they were able to make a difference.
