I'm saving it up so that I can watch it all in one go. I'm surprised that it is on so early in the evening though (i.e. before the 9:00 watershed)

Having been to the Anne Frank house/museum, the set appears to be an exact replica of the limited living space, The acting is brilliant too.

Just watched all of the half hour episodes - so sad but brilliant! I just cannot imagine what it must have been like. I haven't plucked up the courage to watch the following documentary yet. What happened to the people who helped them?

The 2 women were allowed to stay in Amsterdam. The 2 men were both arrested and sent to camps. 1 was released due to illness, the other escaped when the train he was travelling on to a concentration camp was bombed, I think, by American aircraft. He survived the war.

I know how Anne feels when she says her diary is her only friend and that when she writes all her sadness disappears. Her experience shows how your mind set can turn a terrible situation into an amazing situation. I so admire her courage in the face of these horrible events.

Thanks for sharing. Anne Frank has always been my hero. Her diary remain a classic and the best testimony of human cruelty during WWII. I'm constantly amazed by how courageous and brave this little girl is even though she was only 14 years old when the Holocaust began. She will forever be remembered as a warrior with great spirit.

Would you guys recommend this? I've read her diary and I've seen her house in Amsterdam, now I might have to watch this. Is it worthwhile? Can somebody link me up with a review?

It is worthwhile. I've seen it a couple of times, and I still find myself crying even though I know what's going to happen. Here you go: http://bit.ly/QgOuyp
