Recently picked up "The First American Army" by Brice Chadwick it was the winner of the Society of Cincinnati History Prize . Paging through it appears to have many first hand accounts of Revolutionary War soldiers experiences . I am just starting the book and was wondering if anyone has read the book and what they thought ? Tony
Excellent book. I am reading it now. The accounts of Washington's "Life Guard" were particularly interesting and new material to me. RobT
