    Hello
I have just joined after discussing with a gentleman I recently met who is actively in a search for information on Quartermaster Sargeant Henry Hurst, service number 200612. As a member of World War 2 Talk, I realised that this would be the place to assist him, so I joined. He is researching him for a National Trust presentation. He gave me the details I have passed on, and wonder if anybody can assist further. Henry Hurst was born in 1888 and between 1912 and 1919 was in the Kings African Rifles. Listed in his medal awards are Nairobi and Yorkshire Regiment. He mentioned that he believes his records were burned, and as such is after any information.
I have advised him of the strengths of such forums, and hope he will be joining himself in due course.
    regards

    Mark
