    Can anybody tell me anything about this young soldier please ?

    Second Lieutenant DAVID MALCOLM FELL

    166th Bde., Royal Field Artillery
    who died age 20
    on 17 July 1916
    Son of David Fell, of Routs Green, Bledlow Ridge, High Wycombe, Bucks, and the late Mabel Fell. Native of Sydney, New South Wales. Joined from Jesus College, Cambridge.

    Not much more than you already have:

    2nd Lieutenant David Malcolm Fell, RFA
    Left Jesus College, Cambridge in 1914
    Admitted to the Inner Temple
    Gazetted 2nd Lieut, RFA on 15 Nov 1915
    Served in France with 'A' Battery, 166th Brigade, RFA in the 33rd Divisional Artillery
    Killed during the battle of the Somme on 17 July 1916
