Good day to you all. After spending some time on the WWI forum tracing 2 relatives who fell and one who survived as a CSM in Canada I am turning my efforts to WW2. I have inherited a number of pictures of my aunt who spent time in America serving as a sergent. Little is known as to what she did but pictures I have show her in uniform in Chevy Chase Washington DC Jan 1945, and Trinidad March 1944. I am guessing these were taken during possible periods of leave, would that make sense. I understand in the latter period of the war information was shared between the 2 countrys on a more open basis, could she have been involved in liasing with the Americans. I have photo's if anyone would be interested.
Anyone who could shed some light on this we would all be greatful.
This isn't the end but perhaps the end of the beginning.
    Regards to all

    Pete
