Hi All, I had a great day at the Australian War Memorial today. Of note is the post-1945 exhibition and within that is featured a Gloster Meteor that my father flew on a dozen, or so, missions in Korea. (A77-368) Here's a photo of me showing the Meteor to one of his grand-daughters that he didn't live to meet. View attachment 1604 Cheers Owen

Yes Andy, The Meteor has been in storage for some time but is now on display as part of the new post-1945 section. Cheers Owen
I'm thinking a Chat gathering of members at the AWM one of these days...once I move to Melbourne! Who's up for that?
I'll be up for that! Maybe we could tie it in with an air show at Point Cook or something similar? Cheers Owen
I'm in! Packing up our research cell stuff as we speak for a permanent relocate to Canberra next week.
