    Dear Members

It is about time that I made a few points clear. This is a forum for members to communicate and share information with each other. That entails that everyone understands what a member is trying to say.

However, communication is only possible if members attempt to write in a clear manner. That means that a poster must attempt to write with correct spelling and as grammatically as possible.

Recently we have been getting a lot of posts that seem to be more exercises in streams of consciousness than effective communication.

    So:

    1) Read your post before clicking the submit button
    2) Re-read your post
    3) Re-read it once more! Make sure that it makes sense and that you have attempted to convey your thoughts in a manner that can be understood by everyone.

Obviously typos and the occasional spelling mistake are forgivable. We all have those. But repeatedly posting poorly written responses that take longer to decipher than to formulate a response are not fair on other members. It is also not fair on members whose first language is not English, and who may have enough trouble deciphering certain English idioms - having to cope with the above issues is an added burden.

    Thank you
