Good day I have a copy of a instruction given to my G/dad,Act Sergeant in D COY 8 South Lancs Regt Dated Sunday 27/8/16,message is Sgt Walsh has permission to leave the frontline trenches & proceed to BLACK HORSE ROAD BRIDGE ( AUTHUILE ?) and beyond on duty. O /C D COY 8 S LANCS REGT Also a corporal & a private i have both names and numbers. Question is WHY THE ORDER ,& WHERE THE BRIDGE
