    Some interesting comments/typos in the above article...

    The flypast will also include Hurricanes and Lancaster bombers - so I take it the Canadian Lanc is come over just for this flypast. ;-)

    others flying Blenheim bombers and Gladiators – long range coastal patrol aircraft - yes, the Gladiator was well known for going on Rovers to attack shipping...

    Am I being too much of an anorak or is it just too much to ask for journalists to just check basic facts? :-D

    Note the Bedford in the top pic - who's an anorak?! :-D

    Don't know what it is about control towers/buildings on RAF airfields but I just love the style. Would make an awesome house, I reckon.
